The biggest challenges in sport rarely sit where they first appear.
UNSWAYD is an independent advisory firm for the business of sport. We bring an objective view when pressure, competing agendas and internal politics can sway the decision, helping organisations across rights holders, clubs, government agencies, venues and brands make sharper commercial, strategic and organisational choices, then keeping the critical work moving through to completion.

Bring us in when the work carries weight.
The visible problem is rarely the whole problem. It may look commercial, operational or organisational, but the real constraint usually sits between functions, decisions and people, where pressure, competing agendas and internal politics can pull judgement away from the facts.
Senior capacity is missing
A leadership gap, transition or major priority needs experienced ownership and hands-on support now, not another layer of advice.
The decision is under pressure
Time, scrutiny or competing agendas are starting to pull judgement away from the facts and the wider organisational context.
Growth needs sharper choices
A market, partnership, asset or revenue opportunity needs independent evaluation and a practical route forward.
Delivery has stalled
The strategy is understood, but ownership, decision rights and the operating rhythm are not.
The work cannot drift
A bid, tender, event or cross-functional program needs clear direction and accountable leadership.
The obvious answer feels incomplete
You need someone who can test assumptions, surface hidden friction and say what internal politics may not.
Two ways to add senior experience, capability and momentum.
Independent perspective for decisions that carry weight.
For priorities that extend beyond one function, one stakeholder group or the obvious answer. We bring an objective view, unswayed by internal agendas or the loudest voice, to define the real issue, understand its implications across the organisation, and set out clear direction and the practical next steps to move forward with confidence.

Senior leadership, embedded where it is needed.
UNSWAYD Sport steps inside the organisation with clear responsibility for decisions, people, timing and progress. It can lead a defined function, add senior executive capacity, take on a major cross-functional priority, or provide continuity through growth, transition or organisational change, and carry the work through to completion.

Context, alignment and delivery.
Get the real picture first.
Establish the facts, the priority and what is actually getting in the way, before the opinions. Get to the root cause, not the loudest view in the room.
Agree what matters, and who owns it.
Agree what matters and who owns it. Set the direction, the decision rights and how the work connects across functions, so internal politics give way to clear ownership.
Turn direction into accountable action.
Turn direction into accountable action. Surface slippage early, protect timing and keep the work moving through to completion.
Not a framework from a slide. It is how Aiden has worked across leagues, agencies, franchises and major events for over a decade.
From inside the team and around the leadership table.
Aiden Blizzard brings more than twenty years of collective experience across elite competition, high performance, commercial strategy, partnerships, growth, fan engagement and major-event delivery. His career has taken him inside rights holders, governing bodies, clubs, teams, sport and entertainment agencies across Australia and Oceania, Asia, North America, and the UK and Europe.
That perspective began with 14 years as a professional cricketer, competing internationally and contributing to 13 championship-winning teams. It continued through senior leadership roles carrying responsibility for people, performance, commercial outcomes and complex cross-functional delivery.
Aiden has experienced leadership decisions as the athlete expected to execute them, then made and delivered those decisions as the leader accountable for the outcome. This gives him a practical view of how strategy, people and delivery connect, and where that connection can begin to break down.
Through UNSWAYD, Aiden helps leaders look beyond the surface problem. He brings an experienced and independent perspective to identify what is creating friction, challenge assumptions and turn complexity into a clear, practical path forward.
